National Grid’s charitable foundation has awarded the Cape and Islands United Way an initial $115,000 grant to help provide relief for winter heating costs.

Grants from $5,000 to $20,000 will be awarded to Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard nonprofits working to keep residents warm this winter.

HELPFUL TIPS / FAQS
  • Grants are reviewed by community volunteers who may or may not have prior knowledge of the applicant or the program. Please write the grant so that anyone will have an understanding of your program.

  • Be clear and concise as you make the case for funding the proposed program.

  • Your application will not be complete without answering ALL required questions.

  • GRANTS DUE: WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2024
