Together — with our donors, volunteers, partners and sponsors — we work for a community where every child has an equal opportunity to thrive, every family has the resources to become self-reliant, and every person has a safe place to call home. The Cape and Islands United Way partners with more than 30 local nonprofits to fund programs that address these critical issues, making a positive difference in the lives of more than 50,000 people every year.

More than one-third of the funds we distribute to our community is raised at our events. Your engagement and generosity has a direct impact on improving the lives of our friends and neighbors.

Community Baby Shower

In the spirit of a traditional baby shower, the Community Baby Shower is a celebration. The event also gives low-income families a stronger start to parenthood by providing access to maternal and early childhood resources and many essentials to take home, such as diapers, wipes, clothing, and car seats installed by officers from the Barnstable Police helping out at the event.

This year, we will have a community baby shower in Hyannis and on Martha's Vineyard.

As part of your registration fee you will receive $30 in tickets to be used at 4 different food trucks (your choice).
