WE INVITE YOU TO LEAD THE WAY
Our leadership circle includes seasonal and year-round residents who recognize the tremendous human service needs in our communities. As a whole, we know that, together, we can make a real difference.
Your leadership gift will impact nearly 40 organizations and thousands of your Cape and Islands neighbors. On your behalf, we give responsibly to the people and programs that encourage successful children, financially stable families, healthy residents, and safe and affordable housing for everyone.
WHEN YOU GIVE HERE, IT STAYS HERE.
Serving as the region’s leading social impact organization, the Cape and Islands United Way is a locally-chartered, independent nonprofit.
Uniting people is at the heart of what we do. We accomplish this by bringing people together to identify our greatest local challenges – and by collaborating to develop long-term solutions that make our communities better.

Like so many other families, even though we may spend our winters in communities far away, in our souls we consider ourselves to be true Cape Codders. And with that pride we believe that we have a responsibility to take an active role in the care of this beloved and unique region of the country.
– CATHY AND JACK BRENNAN

The Cape & Islands United Way actively serves as the important “safety net” for services to individuals and families throughout the Cape and Islands. As both a Board member and its Treasurer, I am keenly aware of how efficiently donor funds are invested in programs with measurable results. Marie and I are proud to be part of this wonderful organization that supports so many programs providing housing, health, education, and financial stability solutions throughout our region.
– LARRY AND MARIE BIGELOW

We are honored to experience this level of involvement and responsibility with an organization that provides incredible financial support to so many needy children, families, and elderly of Cape Cod and the Islands

How many times have you contributed money to an organization, but have no idea how it was used or who it is impacting? As a member of a Cape and Islands United Way Impact Team, I have had the opportunity to read proposals, meet and interview the people who run organizations, and visit program sites. Each year I am involved in the process I have more and more confidence that the money Mark and I contribute to the Cape and Islands United Way reaches those in our community who are at the most at risk.
