United Way Worldwide CEO visits the White House for Black History Month

Angela F. Williams is President and CEO of United Way Worldwide – the first Black woman to lead the organization.

During her visit to the White House earlier this week, she said, "I’m honored to join President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden for the White House Black History Month reception recognizing Black America’s collective journey and immeasurable contributions to society."

This week, Angela is also participating in The White House Black History Month Roundtable. She says, "I love exchanging ideas with the next generation of Black community leaders on creating more equitable outcomes and opportunities for Black Americans. It is a privilege to help amplify these voices and the stories of their communities."
