We are excited to announce a change in how the Cape and Islands United Way supports volunteerism in our community.
As you may know, we have managed the Cape Cod Volunteers website (capecodvolunteers.org) for the last five years. Through this site, you and many others have donated your time, energy and effort by volunteering to make a meaningful and lasting impact in our community. Building on that work, we have partnered with the Massachusetts Service Alliance and have launched a new site.
Announcing Cape and Islands for Good
The new website is easy to use. One of the most notable features is the ability to access information and make connections to organizations without needing to create a user account.This is a processthat, until now, has been cumbersome and has resulted in user delays.
The new site also allows you to:
Explore virtual volunteer opportunities
View real time volunteer needs and data
Read stories of impact by local organizations
Offer you talents, time or treasure to support organizations
Please note that our local nonprofit partners will be updating their information on this new platform in the coming months. We are thrilled that you want to volunteer, and ask that you be patient as new opportunities to do so be made available.
